What is Rock with Ramsey
Rock with Ramsey is a program I founded to provide education, support, and innovative ideas to students across Virginia and Florida ranging from elementary school to collegiate level students. I travel to classrooms and conduct virtual workshops giving presentations on unmanned aerial systems, geology, environmental stability, and all things STEM. My goal with this program is to get the younger generations interested in pursuing a degree in science, as well as getting collegiate level students ready for what comes next after graduation and starting out in their careers.
Founder
Hello everyone! My name is Alexis Ramsey, a young professional with a Bachelors Degree in Geology from Radford University. If I am not traveling across Virginia or Florida educating students about all things STEM, you can find me hiking through the Appalachian Mountains, Surfing, and Flying my Drone Gina.
My Mission
I strive to leave a lasting positive impact on todays generation with my passion for geology, my experience in unmanned aerial systems, and to show women they are not alone in the STEM industries.
Renowned Geologist, Drone Pilot, Mentor, and Founder of Rock with Ramsey, a program that aids Virginia School Teachers by helping bring a new perspective to STEM education.
